Education Requirements:

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Experience Requirements:

5+ years of CNC programming and machining experience
Experience with CNC mills, lathes, and manual machining equipment
Working knowledge of CAD/CAM software (CATIA, Mastercam, GibbsCAM, or similar)
Strong understanding of GD&T, G-code, tooling, and precision measurement equipment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Job Duties:

Program, set up, and operate CNC and manual mills and lathes
Create and optimize CNC programs for complex machined components
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders
Perform machine setups, tooling selection, and fixture design
Verify dimensions and quality using precision measuring instruments
Troubleshoot machining issues and make program adjustments as needed
Calculate speeds, feeds, and machining requirements for various materials
Maintain equipment and follow preventive maintenance procedures
Follow all quality and safety standards

Physical Capabilities:

Ability to stand for extended periods
Frequent bending, reaching, and lifting
Manual dexterity required for handling tools, parts, and measuring equipment
Ability to work safely around manufacturing machinery
