This person will perform several tasks associated with maintaining plastic injection molding process, equipment related to injection molding machines, servo robots, grinders, trimming equipment, loader systems, facilities support and other.

• Technician skilled duties:
  Injection molding process knowledge - i.e. pressures, velocity, melt, fill time, ejector bars, etc.
• Start and stop of injection molding equipment.
• Install/remove molds, trim dies, grinders, and other auxiliary equipment to make plastic parts.
• Troubleshoot, correct, repair, and optimize injection molding machines, robots (move/initialize), trim dies and all support equipment for molding operations (thermolators, loader system, grinders, conveyors, etc).
• The individual will respond to various equipment conditions, analyze the situation for root cause, and apply the appropriate skill to resolve the issue.
• Operate fork truck to complete tasks such as pulling and setting molds, changing trim dies, etc.
• Read, record, and monitor instructions, formulas, and processing graphs of machine operational data.
• Occasionally assist with preventative maintenance on molds and equipment.
• Demonstrate and promote safe work practices and standards consistent with all OSHA and Energizer internal safety policies and procedures including lock out tag out (LOTO)
• Interact and assist colleagues to help them with molding problems.
• Respectful communication with colleagues and management.
