Stanley Black & Decker - 5903 Grafton Road - Responsibilities:
Program, set up, and operate CNC machines to fabricate metal parts to precise specifications for prototypes and small production runs;
Receive and review CAD files and technical drawings from the engineering group for prototype and production projects;
Read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, and part specifications to determine required dimensions, tolerances, and sequence of operations;
Program CNC machines using Mastercam software to create accurate, high-quality parts;
Inspect finished parts and prototypes for accuracy and quality using precision measuring tools
