Manufacturing Associate

Stewart Glass is seeking a Manufacturing Associate to support fabrication and assembly of commercial glass and aluminum systems in our Richmond, VA facility. In this hands-on role, you'll cut, prep, and assemble glass, storefront, and curtain wall components using shop drawings, hand tools, and production equipment. You'll help stage materials for installation crews, inspect for quality, and follow strict safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and assemble glass, aluminum frames, and hardware to specification
• Read and follow shop drawings, cut lists, and work orders
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and basic fabrication equipment
• Measure, cut, drill, and prep materials for field installation crews
• Inspect materials and finished units for accuracy, fit, and finish
• Stage, package, and load products for shipment or job-site delivery
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe manufacturing work area
• Follow company safety policies and use required PPE at all times
• Assist with inventory counts and material handling as needed
• Collaborate with supervisors and installers to meet production schedules
