1st shift Production Supervisor

We are looking for a motivated,
1st Shift Production Supervisor to join our manufacturing team.

To help us drive excellence, you’ll get to:

• Lead and support hourly production associates in a high-volume stamping operation
• Set clear expectations and hold the team accountable for safety, quality, productivity, attendance, and performance
• Coordinate daily production priorities, manpower, press assignments, and workflow
• Monitor production performance and respond quickly to downtime, quality concerns, and other operational issues
• Partner closely with Quality, Maintenance, Tool & Die, Materials, Safety, and HR
• Conduct shift start-up meetings and communicate production goals and priorities
• Coach, train, and develop associates while recognizing strong performance
• Drive continuous improvement and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scrap, downtime, and overall performance
• Maintain accurate production documentation and ensure company policies and procedures are consistently followed
• Build a positive, accountable work environment where employees understand how their work contributes to the success of the plant

This full-time role is a part of our Bluffton Ohio Production team and reports to the Operations Manager.

• A floor-focused leader who can earn the respect of the team while maintaining high expectations
• At least five years, previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
• Automotive stamping, metal forming, press operations, or similar high-volume manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong people leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-moving production environment
• Experience managing safety, quality, productivity, and employee performance
• A continuous-improvement mindset and willingness to challenge the status quo
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments
• A leadership style that combines accountability, consistency, respect, and employee development
