Processing Technician

Select Sires Inc., a leader in bovine genetics and animal health solutions, is seeking a detail-oriented Processing Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in supporting our mission to enhance dairy and beef production through state-of-the-art breeding technologies. The successful candidate will be instrumental in handling and processing genetic material, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency in our production line.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain all equipment associated with the collection, processing, and storage of bovine semen.
• Ensure strict adherence to biosecurity and quality control protocols to maintain genetic integrity and health standards.
• Monitor and record data for batch processing to ensure traceability and compliance with industry regulations.
• Assist in inventory management of processing supplies and genetic material.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to implement process improvements and maintain compliance with industry standards.
• Provide support to the research and development team in trial runs and new project implementations.
