Position: MIG Welder - Day Shift (OH)
Location: Pandora

Hours:

Monday through Friday, 6:00 am - 3:30 pm, AND currently required to work up to 2 Saturdays per month

Pay: $23.44/hr effective 09/01

Job Overview Welding performs a variety of welding, brazing and cutting techniques using gas and electric welding equipment while observing safety regulations and engaging in UNARCO’s Total Quality Management philosophy. Maintains a clean work area, free of wood, banding material, and other debris and dunnage. Performs other duties as directed by leadership.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Receives instructions for job from area supervisor or leadman.

Fabricates parts by welding various parts as required by using welding techniques and appropriate welding equipment

Cleans and prepares surfaces to be welded, sets up, assembles and welds parts

Maintains a clean and orderly work area Ability to lift 50 pounds at a reasonable rate in a normal dayMust meet or exceed production standards

Ability to work without close supervision

Must be able to work scheduled shift as well as overtime & weekends, as required

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Ability to pass company entry level welding and tape tests

Must be able to understand verbal and written orders

Must be able to weld a visually acceptable bead

Must be able to count and sort products

Must be able to read all blueprints

Must be able to complete inventory tickets

Must be able to set up welding machines

Must have manual dexterity skills

Education and/or experience
