Collect, enter, maintain, and review production, operational, inventory, and quality data.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational and quality reports.
Collect, label, prepare, and document feed and ingredient samples for testing.
Maintain accurate records related to production, sampling, testing, quality, and compliance.
Monitor data and records for accuracy, completeness, and discrepancies; communicate issues as needed.
Support daily feed manufacturing, quality-control, and feed-safety activities.
Assist with tracking production, inventory, ingredients, and operational metrics
Work closely with Production, Quality, Procurement, Sales, and administrative teams to support business needs.
Maintain organized electronic and paper records and documentation.
Assist with audits, inspections, quality initiatives, and process-improvement activities.
Follow established safety, quality, feed-safety, and regulatory procedures.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Travel to other feed manufacturing plants as needed.
Abide by all safety regulations to ensure safety of oneself, coworkers and customers
Develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and referrals
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of experience in an administrative, manufacturing, production, quality, agricultural, food/feed, laboratory, inventory, or related environment; equivalent education or experience may be considered.
- Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to maintain accurate records.
- Basic to intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel or comparable spreadsheet software.
- Ability to accurately enter, organize, review, and interpret data.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to follow written procedures and established work instructions.
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees and management across multiple departments.
- Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation and meet established deadlines.
- Ability to recognize discrepancies and communicate issues appropriately.
- Associate degree or coursework in business administration, agriculture, animal science, feed science, food science, manufacturing, quality assurance, or a related field.
- Experience in a feed mill, grain facility, food manufacturing, agricultural, laboratory, or other manufacturing environment.
- Experience with quality-control or quality-assurance procedures.
- Experience collecting and preparing samples for laboratory analysis.
- Experience with ERP, inventory-management, production-management, laboratory, or quality-management systems.
- Intermediate or advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including sorting, filtering, formulas, pivot tables, or basic data analysis.
- Familiarity with feed manufacturing processes, ingredients, finished feed, or agricultural commodities.
- Familiarity with feed safety, HACCP, GMP, regulatory documentation, or similar quality systems.
- Experience preparing recurring operational or management reports.
- Previous experience working with cross-functional production teams.
