Sorter/Grinder – Entry Level

Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

We're looking for a safety-minded, detail-oriented team member to join our team as a Sorter/Grinder. In this entry-level role, you'll sort and process plastic materials, operate grinding equipment, and help keep our production and storage areas organized and running smoothly. No experience? We're happy to train the right person!

• Sort and organize various types of plastics
• Operate equipment in the grinding room
• Perform basic storage and organizing tasks
• Package and label materials
• Assist with production as needed
• Manage return plastics for recycling
• Perform general shop cleaning and organizing
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

• High school diploma or GED
• Tow motor driving experience
• Comfort using electric and manual pallet jacks
• Ability to use basic hand tools
• Proficiency in basic math
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills
• Ability to follow directions and procedures
• Comfort working in a team environment
• Forklift certification and basic computer skills a plus

• Regular use of hands for fingering, handling, or feeling; frequent reaching, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
• Occasional sitting, climbing, or balancing
• Ability to regularly lift/move up to 10 lbs., frequently lift/move up to 50 lbs, and occasionally lift/move up to 100 lbs. (with assist)
• Ability to move up and down steps and catwalks multiple times per day
• Close, distance, color, and peripheral vision; depth perception; ability to adjust focus
