About the role
This is a production operations role responsible for daily manufacturing operations, process optimization, and facility maintenance in a chemical production environment.
Key responsibilities- Create and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Perform daily operations in accordance with standard operation procedures
- Make daily operation logs and perform container internal and external cleaning
- Conduct mixing and filling activities
- Perform chemical sampling and checks, sign on log sheets, and ensure proper filing
- Check and maintain scheduled preventive maintenance works
- Troubleshoot all production process problems
- Manage stock of safety PPEs, tools, and absorbent pads
- Provide guidance and training for new operators
- Monitor and maintain good practices and housekeeping in production areas
- Chemical engineering degree preferred
- 1 year of experience
- MS Office, problem solving skills, SPC, and SAP knowledge
- Microsoft Access knowledge will be a plus
- Willing to learn and do ad-hoc works
