** Job Description
*** Supervise and coordinate the work activities of hourly production employees to ensure quality and production goals are met.
* Provide daily defect feedback to production employees and management, ensuring transparency and timely corrective action.
* Interpret, communicate, and enforce company policies and safety regulations.
* Establish and adjust manpower to meet production schedules and quality requirements.
* Maintain accurate time and production records.
* Administer disciplinary action as needed, in alignment with company policies and the collective bargaining agreement.
* Inspect products to verify conformance to specifications; assist in problem resolution and general maintenance of machinery as needed.
* Recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
* Set up and oversee containment activities when required.
* Communicate shop floor problems and defects to appropriate personnel responsible for root cause analysis and corrective action.
* Develop and execute inspection and testing schedules for new launches.
* Ensure adherence to the collective bargaining agreement.
* Perform additional duties as assigned.
* Support the achievement of quality and management objectives by ensuring compliance with quality policies, procedures, and processes.
* Initiate actions to prevent nonconformance related to product, processes, and quality systems.
* Identify and document any issues related to the product, process, or quality system.
* Control further processing, delivery, or installation of nonconforming product until deficiencies are corrected.
