Machine Operator

Now hiring for a Machine Operator

Location:

Edgerton, OH Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour Monday – Thursday | 6 AM – 4 PM Push Buttons, Pull Levers, Cash Paychecks. Looking for Machine Operator jobs in Edgerton where dependable work keeps production moving? This opportunity lets you operate manufacturing equipment, monitor product quality, and help produce consistent results in a safe, fast-paced production environment.

Job Duties

  • Feed or catch cardboard that goes through a sweeping machine.
  • Will also check cardboard for damage to determine scrap.
  • May also operate a cutting and stacking machine.
  • Maintain that proper guards are on the machines.

Education Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred. Technical training or manufacturing education is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

Experience operating manufacturing or production equipment. Ability to read work instructions, production schedules, and basic technical documentation. Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to monitor equipment for proper operation. Ability to perform quality inspections and maintain production standards. Commitment to workplace safety, attention to detail, and dependable attendance.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous machine operation, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience is preferred. Experience performing machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, or preventative maintenance is beneficial. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a Machine Operator.

Physical Capabilities

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 20 pounds. Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
