The Furniture Finisher is a full-time, on-site role based in Apple Creek, OH. This position is responsible for preparing, finishing, and refinishing wooden furniture using stains, paints, and protective coatings to achieve high-quality, durable surfaces. Day-to-day tasks include sanding and smoothing surfaces, mixing and applying finishes, inspecting pieces for defects, and performing touch-ups to meet quality standards. The role also involves safe operation of power tools and equipment, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and collaborating with team members to meet production schedules.

The Furniture Finisher may assist in training team members on finishing techniques and quality expectations.

• Proficiency with furniture finishing techniques and working with wood furniture.
• Ability to work with paint and staining processes, including color matching and surface preparation.
• Skilled in using power tools and finishing equipment safely and effectively.
• Experience providing or receiving training in shop practices, safety, and finishing methods.
• Attention to detail, strong hand-eye coordination, and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Ability to stand, lift, and perform repetitive tasks in a workshop environment.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team setting.
• Prior experience in furniture finishing, woodworking, or a related trade is preferred but not required. All skill levels are encouraged to apply.
