Running manual presses and helping with packaging on Auto presses ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. The company will evaluate each request independently to determine the feasibility of the request.

Perform QC processes on parts produced; understand what gauges are to be used to check the part.

Coordinate orders to parts, check labels to orders, fill out labels and place labels on box Operate the following tools:
Use scissors repetitively, use a bander to band parts, protractor, use a square, hand stapler, allen wrenches.

Maintaining and keeping work environment clean. Put things away in designated areas.

Operate machinery: use foot and palm buttons, push parts through press repeatedly, slide parts and/or steel strips through press, insert and knock out bearing with manual press, change rivet sizes in Riveter press, change out plates on press.

Follow all tasks and instructions as it pertains to the job.

Know which parts and/or changeovers that need set up called to perform.

Verify correct box and skid size. Tape boxes and stack boxes on skids

Trouble shoot machine when machine is running irregular

Tag baskets and bins Spray coolant bottles

Pull/Push rollarounds to the designated work center

Get box carts that are needed for the job Complete paperwork thoroughly and accurately

Follow all safety policies and compliance requirements

Perform other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONSHigh School Diploma or GEDOne to three years of manufacturing experience.

Must be able to perform basic skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication.

Demonstrate knowledge of computer functions and ability to perform computer operations.

Ability to write and read/comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

Must be able to work overtime as scheduled.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & MINIMUM PPE REQUIREMENTS Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the associate works around mechanical hazards, noise and or vibration on a daily basis. Extreme temperatures, wetness / humidity and being outdoors are seasonally in nature.

PPE Requirements:
Proper gloves, safety glasses including shields, steel toed shoes, hearing protection.
