Assembler, Manufacturing ​/ Production

Do you want to work in a facility that takes pride in their well-kept environment? Mancan is working with a Baltic company seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join their team as assemblers!

As an assembler, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by efficiently and accurately assembling rails and performing inspections. The ideal candidate should be physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and performing tasks that involve bending and twisting. This is a 1st shift position with the potential for temp-to-hire based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Rail Assembly:
Perform assembly tasks according to provided instructions, ensuring the correct components are used and the finished product meets quality standards.

- Inspection:
Thoroughly inspect assembled rails for defects, irregularities, and adherence to quality standards. Identify and report any issues to supervisors.

- Physical Demands:
Lift and maneuver components and materials weighing up to 50 pounds safely and efficiently, adhering to proper lifting techniques and safety guidelines. Stand for extended periods of time during the assembly process while maintaining focus and attention to detail.

- Flexibility in Movement:
Demonstrate the ability to bend, twist, and perform movements required to complete assembly tasks effectively and efficiently.

- Adherence to Safety:
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues.

- Other Assigned Duties:
Be prepared to take on additional tasks and responsibilities as directed by supervisors to support the overall manufacturing process and facility operations.

Qualifications:

- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the shift.
- Comfortable with continuous standing and the ability to bend and twist as required.
- Attention to detail and the ability to conduct thorough inspections.
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.

Work Schedule:

- 1st

Shift: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
- Overtime availability as needed including Saturdays.

Compensation:

- Hourly pay rate: $17/hour.
