Salary Range: $24.00 To $30.00 Hourly

Position Summary

The Engineering Technician supports the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, equipment, and products. Working closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Production teams, this role plays a hands-on part in prototyping, process improvement, equipment implementation, and training. The ideal candidate enjoys understanding how things work, identifying opportunities for improvement, and helping turn engineering concepts into practical manufacturing solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Production, Quality, and Operations.
• Provide hands-on support for engineering projects focused on improving safety, quality, productivity, and process efficiency.
• Assist with the design, build, testing, and implementation of new manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, and fixtures.
• Create and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and engineering records.
• Support training of production associates on new processes, equipment, and best practices.
• Assist with prototyping, mechanical assembly, testing, and validation activities.
• Evaluate manufacturing processes and recommend improvements to equipment, tooling, fixtures, and workflow.
• Support troubleshooting efforts to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Gather and analyze process data to support engineering decisions and improvement initiatives.
• Support continuous improvement projects and other engineering activities as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability in a manufacturing or technical environment.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications including Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Technology, or a related field. Relevant experience may be substituted for education.
• Experience with prototyping, mechanical assembly, 3D printing, machining, fabrication, or machine shop equipment.
• CAD experience using Solid Works, Inventor, AutoCAD, or similar software.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, engineering, or continuous improvement projects.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
• Mechanical aptitude and technical troubleshooting
