A growing landscaping company in Smithville is seeking an experienced and dependable Compost Site Manager to oversee the daily operations of its compost department. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for keeping the site organized, safe, productive, and operating efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the compost site and department.

• Coordinate employees, workflow, materials, and daily tasks.

• Operate equipment such as wheel loaders, sifters, and scales as needed.

• Monitor compost materials and ensure the site remains organized and maintained.

• Perform basic equipment maintenance and coordinate servicing when needed.

• Operate a dump truck and make deliveries as needed.

• Maintain a safe work environment and ensure employees follow company procedures.

• Help identify and resolve day-to-day operational issues.

• Communicate with management regarding site needs, equipment, materials, and staffing.

• Perform other duties as needed to support the landscaping operation.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in site management, operations, landscaping, construction, agriculture, or a related field.

• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

• Experience operating heavy equipment, particularly wheel loaders, is preferred.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage daily priorities.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
