Overview
The Segment Growth Marketing Manager for Commercial & Industrial (C&I) is responsible for driving revenue growth, strengthening customer and partner relationships, and elevating Vertiv’s market reputation across high-growth, mission-critical industries. This role brings deep experience in power management and data center infrastructure solutions, understands the dynamics of regulated and specification-driven markets, and has proven success working with Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs) and channel ecosystems.
Responsibilities- Revenue & Demand Generation Execution
- Execute integrated demand generation programs aligned to revenue targets for Healthcare, Manufacturing, Semiconductor, EV/Battery, and Pharma segments.
- Support pipeline creation and influence through targeted campaigns, account-based initiatives, and regional activations.
- Partner with Sales to align marketing activities with account plans, opportunity stages, and segment priorities.
- Track campaign performance, report results, and optimize programs based on data and feedback.
- Relationship Management & Collaboration
- Act as the day-to-day marketing partner for sellers and segment stakeholders.
- Support engagement with consultants, EPCs, GPOs, and channel partners to drive influence and specification positioning.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Global COEs, Brand, Content, Digital, and Product Marketing to ensure effective execution.
- Market Reputation & Content Activation
- Activate vertical-specific messaging and content that positions Vertiv as a trusted partner in mission-critical C&I environments.
- Support thought leadership programs, industry events, innovation visits, and customer engagements.
- Ensure consistent messaging across campaigns, presentations, events, and customer touchpoints.
- Sales Enablement & Field Support
- Execute sales enablement initiatives, including vertical value propositions, playbooks, presentations, and customer-ready assets.
- Support sellers with customer insights, use cases, and competitive positioning relevant to each segment.
- Gather field feedback to continuously improve enablement tools and marketing programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in B2B marketing, segment marketing, or demand generation within industrial, critical infrastructure, power, or data center environments.
- Experience supporting Healthcare, Manufacturing, Semiconductor, EV/Battery, or Pharma markets is strongly preferred.
- Exposure to working with GPOs, consultants, EPCs, specification-driven buying processes. And account-based marketing.
- Strong execution skills with attention to detail, timelines, and follow-through.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to drive pipeline creation, acceleration, and revenue influence.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-impact role.
- Willingness to travel as needed to support customers, partners, and key events.
- MBA or advanced degree preferred; certifications in AI, cloud, data center, or enterprise IT; experience with partner-led go-to-market models preferred.
- Marketing Automation Platform (Eloqua), 6sense, and/or CRM Platform (Oracle Sales Cloud), Sprinklr, Wrike, experience a strong plus/preferred.
- Experience in a global, multi-cultural environment.
- Ability to work in standard office environment.
