On Hold - Reviewing Submitted Candidates ON HOLD 12.12.2025 Locum Tenens Wound Care Nurse Practitioner | Outpatient Clinic near Blue Creek, OH We are urgently seeking a dedicated and skilled Wound Care Nurse Practitioner to provide essential locum coverage at our outpatient clinic near Blue Creek, Ohio. This critical assignment runs from December 22, 2025, to March 31, 2026, offering a chance to bridge services and ensure continuous, high-quality patient care.
Schedule and Role Details Coverage Dates:
December 22, 2025 ??? March 31, 2026. Shift
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM ??? 4:30 PM. Flexibility:
Preference for availability on Monday, Thursday, and Friday. Patient Load: 15???30 patients daily. Documentation:
Utilizing the Epic EMR system.
Key Responsibilities & Treatments The successful candidate will manage a high volume of complex wounds, including various ulcers (vascular, pressure, diabetic), acute, surgical, and non-healing wounds. Core
Duties Include:
Comprehensive wound management and application of topical therapies. Supervision of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT). Performing procedures such as Bioengineered Skin application, Debridement, Incision and Drainage, and Negative Pressure-Assisted Wound Closure. Implementing preventive measures and providing extensive patient/support system education. Qualifications License:
Active Ohio license (Required). Certification:
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (Required). Preference:
