Are you a skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with trauma surgery and critical care experience? A fantastic locum tenens opportunity is available in Ohio near Lucas, offering a chance to work in a high-acuity trauma environment. Adults aged 16 and older; pediatric cases are referred elsewhere. EMR:
Epic Responsibilities:
Provide care as part of a dedicated trauma team with 24/7 attending surgeon support. Work autonomously within the trauma service line, not the operating room. Handle trauma alerts, admissions, and critical care management. Collaborate with surgeons, hospital staff, and other healthcare providers to deliver exceptional care. Requirements:
Board Certification as an NP or PA. Active Ohio license (required). Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and ATLS (required). FCCS is highly preferred. Experience in trauma surgery and critical care (no new graduates). Must have hands-on experience managing trauma service cases beyond emergency department exposure. Additional Perks:
