Location: Delta
A leading healthcare facility in northwest Ohio, near Delta, seeks a dedicated Nurse Practitioner with a background in Hematology and Oncology for a permanent, full-time role. Position Overview Role:
Nurse Practitioner, Hematology/Oncology Specialty
Schedule:
Full-time, Monday to Friday (3-5 days per week) No weekends or holidays required Occasional on-call shifts depending on practice needs Responsibilities:
Manage daily clinic schedules and provide comprehensive care to Hematology/Oncology patients Assist with infusion clinic needs, covering acute cases as part of a rotating schedule Collaborate with an interdisciplinary medical team Primarily outpatient role with optional inpatient rounding for those experienced Handle a caseload of 10-15 patients per day Clinical documentation is essential, and experience with Cerner is a plus Complex decision-making abilities and the ability to work independently with new patients Requirements Certification:
Board-certified NP (AANP/ANCC) Licensure:
Ohio license or willingness to obtain
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years in an ambulatory or acute care NP role (excluding RN experience or training) Preferred background in Hematology/Oncology Professional Attributes:
Strong interest in Hematology/Oncology with a commitment to ongoing education Clean malpractice record and current licensure Benefits & Compensation Competitive Salary:
