Job Duties and Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

Suturing minor lacerations Responding to Trauma Alerts in the Emergency Department Performing surgical consultations Handling ER admissions Facilitating patient discharges Managing house codes and participating in the Rapid Response Team Completing FAST exams at the bedside Providing general surgery coverage from 5 PM to 7 AM on weekdays and full 24-hour coverage on weekends Patient Demographics:
Treat and stabilize patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric Approximate patient distribution: 5% pediatric, 35% adult, 60% geriatric Certification and License Requirements Certifications
