RN Supervisor- FT (Dayshift) Job Summary

Sunrise Manor & Convalescent Center, a leading provider of Skilled Nursing care, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate RN Supervisor to join our team! As a key member of our clinical leadership team, you will be responsible for supervising day-to-day nursing activities and ensuring the highest degree of quality care for our residents.

• Admit, transfer, and discharge residents as required

• Assist the Director of Nursing Services in directing day-to-day nursing activities

• Participate in on-call rotation with other nurse managers

• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations

• Coordinate nursing care with other resident services

• Meet with nursing staff and support personnel to plan department services

• Complete accident/incident reports and administrative duties as necessary

• Inform nursing staff of new admissions and room assignments

• Must possess a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved RN program

• Must have at least 2 years of experience as a supervisor in long-term care facility, or other related healthcare facility

• Vent Experience at least 1 year (preferred)

• Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to long-term care

• Must possess leadership and supervisory ability, and the willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel
