Position Summary

NCTA is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support a School in Chesterland, Ohio. This is a fantastic opportunity to impact children's health and well-being while enjoying a a great work schedule!

  • Hours:

    Full-Time position available within school hours (Approx. 8am – 4pm)
  • Pay Range:
    Competitive Salary Based on Experience
  • Working Days or Days per week:
    Follows a standard school calendar - 5 days per week – 30-40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
  • Providing nursing care and health support to children in school settings.
  • Administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and managing basic health care needs.
  • Supporting the prevention of communicable diseases and implementing protocols to maintain a safe, healthy environment.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, school staff, and families to ensure the best care for each child.
  • Handling confidential information and maintaining compliance with HIPAA laws and regulations.
  • Staying informed about medication protocols, school health practices, and other related nursing guidelines.
Qualifications
  • Current LPN license through the Ohio Board of Nursing
  • Current CPR certification
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Basic knowledge of communicable disease prevention and medication administration
  • Collaborative, team-oriented approach with strong interpersonal skills
  • Must work effectively and build relationships with staff, parents, and students.
  • Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities.
