Position SummaryNCTA is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support a School in Chesterland, Ohio. This is a fantastic opportunity to impact children's health and well-being while enjoying a a great work schedule!
- Hours:
Full-Time position available within school hours (Approx. 8am – 4pm) - Pay Range:
Competitive Salary Based on Experience - Working Days or Days per week:
Follows a standard school calendar - 5 days per week – 30-40 hours per week
- Providing nursing care and health support to children in school settings.
- Administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and managing basic health care needs.
- Supporting the prevention of communicable diseases and implementing protocols to maintain a safe, healthy environment.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, school staff, and families to ensure the best care for each child.
- Handling confidential information and maintaining compliance with HIPAA laws and regulations.
- Staying informed about medication protocols, school health practices, and other related nursing guidelines.
- Current LPN license through the Ohio Board of Nursing
- Current CPR certification
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Basic knowledge of communicable disease prevention and medication administration
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach with strong interpersonal skills
- Must work effectively and build relationships with staff, parents, and students.
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities.
