Full time. Shift: 12‑hour day and night positions available.

The Medical/Surgical unit at Mount Carmel St. Ann's is a 40‑bed unit. The Registered Nurse will care for medical, surgical, oncology and adolescent patients aged 13 and over. This fast‑paced unit focuses on individualized, evidence‑based care in accordance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.

• Provide nursing care, ensuring a safe environment and promoting evidence‑based practice.
• Assess and evaluate patient care for assigned patients using evidence‑based methods.
• Collaborate with patients and families to develop and implement care plans that include physical, spiritual, and educational components.
• Communicate pertinent information to team members in a timely manner.
• Keep patients/families informed and updated.
• Document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and completely.
• Assume responsibility and accountability for care provided and documented by other licensed and unlicensed caregivers.

• Graduate from a nursing school.
• Current Ohio Registered Nurse license.
• For casual RNs, 2 years of experience required.
• New graduates with less than one year of clinical experience will be enrolled in a Nurse Residency Program.
