This change reflects our continued commitment to providing comprehensive, person-centered care that addresses the full range of behavioral health needs for Ohioans. All positions and services now fall under the Ohio Department of Behavioral Health as we move forward in serving individuals, families, and communities across the state.

What you'll do at DBH:
Serve as Clinical Nurse Manager under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) Assist the DON in the organization and administration of the Nursing Department Supervise psychiatric nurse supervisors; directs/supervises licensed and non-licensed nursing staff Acts for DON in his/her absence Communicate/collaborate with interdisciplinary team(s) and other clinical disciplines Develop and oversee patient education by all clinical disciplines Develop an annual plan for professional improvement Monitor and train nursing staff This is an hourly position and is exempt from the bargaining units, with a pay range of #16 on the E1 Exempt Pay Range Schedule.

Normal working hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 7:30pm (Flexible Schedule). Unless required by any applicable union contract and/or requirements of the Ohio Revised Code, the selected candidate will begin at Step 1 of the pay range schedule listed above, with an opportunity for pay increase after six months of satisfactory performance and then a yearly raise thereafter.

Qualifications:

Requires current license as registered professional nurse in state of Ohio as issued by Board of Nursing per Section 4723.03 of Revised Code; 36 mos. exp. in psychiatric nursing or delivery of nursing services to persons with developmental disabilities; completion of undergraduate core program in nursing; 18 mos. trg. or 18 mos. exp. in supervision; 18 mos. trg. or 18 mos.

exp. in management; 12 mos. trg. or 12 mos. exp. in counseling; 12 mos. trg. or 12 mos. exp. in public relations.
