At Schoenbrunn Healthcare, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care and services to our patients. As a Wound Nurse at our facility, you will play a vital role in the continuum of care, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to deliver personalized treatment plans to our patients.

As a Wound Nurse, you will be responsible for managing the care of patients with acute and chronic wounds, including surgical wounds, burns, and pressure ulcers. Your expertise will be essential in identifying wound complications and developing effective treatment plans to promote optimal healing. You will also work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication.

• Assess patients with acute and chronic wounds, including surgical wounds, burns, and pressure ulcers
• Develop and implement individualized wound care plans, including debridement, dressing changes, and wound cleansing
• Monitor wound healing progress and modify treatment plans as necessary
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Educate patients and families on wound care techniques and provide emotional support
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and wound healing progress
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and facility processes

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Ohio
• Minimum 0 years of experience in wound care or related field
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of wound care principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
• Compassionate and patient‑focused approach to care
