Assistant Professor of Nursing (OB/Pediatrics and Medical‑Surg)

The University of Rio Grande/Rio Grande Community College seeks an experienced nurse educator with a record of teaching in RN‑BSN and ADN programs. The position is a full‑time (12 month), tenure‑track faculty role in the Holzer School of Nursing for in‑person classes. Academic rank (Assistant, Associate, or Professor) will be based on qualifications. The successful candidate will plan, implement, and evaluate instruction using online, hybrid, and traditional teaching delivery modalities.

The successful candidate must demonstrate a commitment to working effectively with students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds. The standard load is 24 hours per academic year with additional responsibilities, including student advising/mentoring, participation in departmental activities, scholarship/research, and/or University or community service.

• Earned Masters in Nursing by appointment
• At least two years of experience in the Nursing Field
• Expertise and experience in OB/Pediatrics
• Eligible for Ohio RN license

• Master in Nursing Education, Doctorate in nursing or related field, a minimum of five years of teaching, clinical and leadership experience, and evidence of scholarship.
