Registered Nurse - PACU
Location: Lima, Ohio
Start Date: 08-25-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Day shift, 8-hour shifts (e.g., 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM), Monday-Friday, with on-call rotation (30-minute response time); weekend requirements TBD
Hours per Week: 40
Roles & Responsibilities- Assess and collect data to develop individualized care plans for peri-anesthesia patients
- Coordinate multidisciplinary treatment plans and implement collaborative interventions
- Monitor patients during pre-anesthesia, assist with nerve blocks, and provide post-anesthesia Phase I and II care
- Communicate patient status across the continuum of care and report findings to anesthesia providers
- Evaluate patient health status and adjust interventions to achieve optimal outcomes
- Respond to on-call needs within 30 minutes to ensure timely patient care
- Expertise in peri-anesthesia nursing and ASPAN standards
- Proficient in patient assessment, care planning, and documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate with anesthesiologists and the healthcare team
- Comfortable with on-call responsibilities and flexible scheduling

Requirements- Must have at least 3 years of recent PACU experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Active Ohio RN license or eligibility to obtain
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
