- Administer and dispense medications and injections according to accepted nursing practice guidance
- Manage patient medication preselection and drug administration
- Perform initial inductions and provide medical services as needed
- Conduct assessments and monitor vital signs for dose changes
- Educate patients regarding treatment, health, and safety policies
- Schedule appointments and document no-shows in the system
- Attend required meetings, including on-site staff meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings
- Sign and process physician orders
- Enter notes in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and input flags
- Maintain, monitor, and reconcile medication inventory
- Follow HIPAA and other regulatory and company compliance requirements
- Complete documentation using the designated EMR
- Comply with the Bright View Infection Control plan and educate patients and staff
- Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse with a passion for behavioral health and recovery
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
- Drug/alcohol or psychiatric setting experience preferred
- RN:
Associates Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) - LPN:
Associates Degree in Nursing, BSN, or LPN with State Medication Administration Certification - State Registered Nurse (RN) or State Licensed Practical Nursing License (LPN) required
