We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and service-focused LPN/Medication Technician to join our Assisted Living and Memory Care team on Full-Time Day Shift. This position plays a vital role in promoting resident health, safety, comfort, and quality of life while providing exceptional care in a warm, resident-centered environment.

Schedule

  • Full-Time
  • Day Shift
  • Weekend and holiday rotation as needed

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and community policies.
  • Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly communicate concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation of medication administration, treatments, and resident care.
  • Assist with resident assessments, service plan updates, and care coordination.
  • Provide support and guidance to caregivers regarding resident care needs.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations and community standards.
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies and resident incidents.
  • Foster positive relationships with residents, families, providers, and team members.

Qualifications

For LPN Candidates:

  • Current Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
  • Experience in Assisted Living, Long-Term Care, Memory Care, or Geriatric Nursing preferred.

For Medication Technician Candidates:

  • Current Ohio Medication Aide/Medication Administration certification (if applicable).
  • Previous experience administering medications in a senior living setting preferred.

Skills & Attributes

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Dependable, professional, and committed to quality care.
  • Experience working with residents living with dementia is preferred.
