Starting Pay: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour DOE & Education

The Facility Nurse is responsible for overseeing resident and staff health services, medication management, regulatory compliance, medical documentation, and health education. The role works closely with the Program Director, Facilities Manager, and Medical Provider to ensure safe, compliant, and effective healthcare operations.
Primary Responsibilities- Support resident and staff medical care.
- Coordinate medical requirements, including TB testing, assessments, and pharmacy orders.
- Manage medication ordering, administration, documentation, and inventory counts.
- Complete medical intake processes and maintain resident records.
- Conduct facility inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance.
- Coordinate projects with the Facilities Manager.
- Maintain relationships with healthcare vendors, inspectors, and agencies.
- Provide hygiene training and health education.
- Track staff and resident immunizations and testing.
- Maintain first aid kits, AEDs, and medical equipment.
- Ensure proper biohazard disposal procedures.
- Support ACA, PREA, CBCF, and BCS compliance audits.
- Participate in ongoing professional development.
- Active LPN or RN license.
- Valid driver's license.
- Willingness to work occasional weekend shifts.
- Degree in Nursing or a related field.
- Strong organization and time management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain professional in challenging situations.
- Experience with technology and electronic health records (EHRs).
