Grounds Maintenance

Under general supervision and in a timely manner, the grounds maintenance individual's schedule will vary depending on the season of the year. The spring/summer/fall seasons, be responsible to mow the back yard, spray weeds, paint and clean as needed. In the winter season, be responsible to remove snow and spread salt as needed, along with general cleanup and assist with the needs of the Maintenance and/or Refrigeration Departments.

Essential job functions and duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Must demonstrate clear and concise communication with supervision and plant personnel in all things related to their specific job responsibilities.
• Mow and maintain a clean lawn as needed.
• Maintain the plant grounds free of weeds as needed.
• Remove snow and spread salt on all sidewalks/crosswalks as needed.
• Clean and paint equipment, lines, etc. as needed.
• Clean areas as directed.

• Ability to safely drive and operate company provided equipment.
• Ability to safely operate company provided spraying equipment
• Effective planning and organizing skills.
• Ability to receive written and verbal instructions.
• Ability and willingness to comply and support Company policies, procedures, work rules, and protocols.
• Ability to adapt effectively to workplace changes and new job duties/responsibilities.
• Ability to represent the Company in a positive and professional manner at all times.
