Park Maintenance Worker – Farmpark – Seasonal (Non-Exempt)

Rate: $14.00

Pay Grade: SEA | Starting salary based on prior experience and education.

Location: Farmpark, Kirtland, OH 44094

Under the direction of a supervisor, the Park Maintenance Worker is responsible for performing a variety of building and grounds maintenance duties at assigned locations to help ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming park environment.

• Performing general park clean-up
• Mowing park grounds, painting, landscaping, and litter removal
• Assisting with minor building and equipment repairs
• Performing custodial tasks
• Assisting with special event set-up and tear-down
• Completing other duties as assigned by the supervisor

• Prior maintenance experience preferred
• Must be at least 16 years old

• Basic knowledge of painting
• Ability to perform moderate construction tasks
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Ability to properly operate vehicles, trucks, and trailers
• Ability to safely operate RTVs, small power tools, and other equipment as required
• Ability to work independently and travel to multiple locations for cleaning, equipment movement, and landscaping tasks
• Proficiency with computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Variable work schedule up to 40 hours per week
• May occasionally be required to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the Agency’s liability policy
• Pre-employment background check required
