Veterinary Position at Anicura Restelo Hospital

As a Veterinarian You Will Be Responsible For:
  • Providing appropriate preventive care.
  • Clinically exploring animals and preparing their medical history.
  • Conducting internal medicine consultations.
  • Attending emergency, inpatient, and ICU consultations.
  • Performing complete diagnostic tests.
  • Assessing information collected through effective anamnesis, physical examination, and diagnosis to reach an adequate and effective clinical decision.
  • Monitoring and controlling hospitalized animals.
  • Establishing treatment guidelines, as well as their subsequent follow-up and evolution.
  • Prescribing medications.
  • Explaining the treatment plan and budget to the client.
  • Maintaining daily case count control.
  • Playing an active role in improving hospital efficiency.
  • Addressing and resolving client concerns arising from pet medical care.
  • Developing strong and lasting relationships with clients.
  • Demonstrating integrity and ethics in all actions and behaviors.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Master’s degree in Veterinary Medicine.
  • Experience in a hospital setting for a minimum of six months.
  • Availability to work in rotating shifts.
  • Patient and owner-oriented.
  • Action-oriented.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize.
  • Conflict resolution skills.
  • Integrity and trust.
