Emergency Veterinarian 2nd shift

Overview

Westerville Veterinary Clinic is a busy nine‑doctor practice in central Ohio. We are seeking a full‑time or part‑time associate Veterinarian to join our hardworking and upbeat team as we continue to handle after‑hours cases from 6 pm until 2 am. Full‑time consists of an average of 28 scheduled hours per week and part‑time consists of an average of 16 scheduled hours per week.

• Handle after‑hours cases from 6 pm to 2 am.
• Collaborate with daytime emergency staff, general practice staff and after‑hours services, transferring cases seamlessly.
• Assist at night if the overnight caseload is too high or assistance is needed for a difficult surgery.
• Learn and perform common emergency surgeries such as C‑sections, pyometra repairs, foreign‑body surgeries, splenectomies and GDVs.
• Participate in 24/7 radiology reading service and use in‑house Idexx laboratory equipment for fast processing.

Veterinary License in Ohio and desire to work second shift (6 pm–2 am).

• At least $150 k (for less experienced doctors) in salary with potential to earn $170–220 k+; realistic goals for more experienced.
