Overview
Kings Veterinary Hospital is a progressive and well-equipped small animal hospital in an affluent demographic area just 20 miles northeast of downtown Cincinnati. We have been providing top-quality veterinary care with a personalized and compassionate feel since 1995. Our team of 10 doctors works in a collaborative effort to provide the best care in the area while supporting a positive work/life balance.
We are seeking a full-time veterinarian with general practice and urgent care experience, or those who are interested in both.

- You are looking for full-time hours with flexible options
- You have an Urgent Care/GP background with interest in focusing on urgent care
- You are seeking a fast-paced hospital where the days go by quickly
- You are looking for a collaborative environment working alongside multiple experienced DVMs
- Generous compensation with annual range of $135,000–$175,000 and up to $25,000 in bonuses
- Urgent Care support ratio of 4:1, support staff to doctor
- A focus on work-life balance
- A consistent 3/4 day per week schedule (Every 4th Saturday is preferred)
- No overnight or holiday commitments
- Ability to manage a variety of case types including general practice, urgent and critical care
- Best-in-class dual-layer mentorship program for new graduates
- Digital x-ray and digital dental x-ray systems
- In-house laboratory capabilities including Idexx Catalyst & Pro Cyte, urinalysis with sediments, FeLV and other ELISA tests, and full-service external lab work capabilities
- Esaote ultrasound for abdominal and echocardiogram
- Isoflurane/Sevoflurane anesthesia
- Ultrasonic dental equipment in separate dental suite
- Excellent surgical monitoring capabilities including EKG, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry
- Complete pharmacy with a large inventory of established pharmaceuticals
- Newest version of Cornerstone; we are a paper-lite clinic
- Acupuncture
- Good working relationship with local rescue groups
- Laser surgery
- Electrocautery surgery
- Therapeutic cold laser
- Recently completed 4 new exam rooms
