Ready to Enjoy Veterinary Medicine Again?
For over 30 years, we’ve built a supportive, collaborative environment where veterinarians are respected, supported, and genuinely enjoy coming to work. As we continue to grow in Northwood , we’re looking for veterinarians who want more than just a job — they want a positive team, meaningful relationships, and a workplace where they can thrive.
A Team That Truly Supports Each OtherCulture matters here. We’ve worked hard to create an environment that is:
- Collaborative, not competitive
- Supportive, not toxic
- Flexible, not burnout-driven
- Growth-focused, not stagnant
Our experienced doctors and long-tenured support staff work together with kindness, trust, and open communication. Many of our team members have been with us for 20+ years — a reflection of the positive environment we’ve built together.
You’ll never feel like you’re practicing alone.
Practice Great Medicine — Without Sacrificing BalanceWe’re a 5-doctor companion animal practice equipped with advanced technology including:
- Digital radiology
- Therapeutic laser
- In-house IDEXX lab
- Lift tables and modern surgical equipment
But just as important as our medicine is how we care for each other.
This full-time role averages only 30–32 hours per week with:
- No after-hours emergencies
- No on-call responsibilities
- A strong focus on work-life balance and sustainability
Whether you’re passionate about urgent care, surgery, mentorship, or integrative medicine, we want to support your growth.
Managing DVM Dr. Amy Chalfin is actively expanding our integrative medicine services, including acupuncture and holistic care options, and is excited to collaborate with veterinarians who want to bring fresh ideas and new passions to the practice.
Who We’re Looking ForWe’re searching for veterinarians who:
- Value teamwork and positive culture
- Communicate with kindness and respect
- Want to continue learning and growing
- Enjoy mentoring and collaborating
- Are looking for a fulfilling, long-term career home
Experienced veterinarians and enthusiastic new graduates are both encouraged to apply.
- $120,000–$150,000 DOE + production
- Strong mentorship and leadership support
- Modern, newly updated facility
- Opportunity to help shape the future of the practice
At East Suburban Animal Clinic, we’re building a workplace where people feel valued, supported, and excited about the future of veterinary medicine.
If you’re ready to join a team that prioritizes culture as much as clinical excellence, we’d love to meet you.
