Client Service Representative
Full‑time and part‑time positions. Applicants must have experience in the veterinary field and be able to work flexible hours, including nights and Saturdays.
- Front of the hospital customer service role: foster lasting client relationships, handle phone communications, computer skills, and administrative duties.
- Energy and enthusiasm required.
- Ability to cross‑train into other parts of the hospital is a bonus.
Hours:
Monday‑Friday 7:30 am – 7 pm;
Saturday 8:30 am – 4 pm.
Full‑service animal hospital with 365‑day boarding. Shifts are not “set hours” and depend on kennel volume.
- Morning shifts start 7 am and continue until all pets are cared for (2–5 hours). Evening shifts start about 7 pm and continue until all pets are cared for (2–5 hours).
- Must be available on weekends and holidays.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Animal husbandry experience preferred. Pay based on experience and availability.
Knowledgeable, kind, caring, and outcome oriented. Use veterinary knowledge to educate clients, oversee patient care, and develop long‑lasting relationships.
- Veterinary Technician certification or licensure (or recent graduate with pending test).
- Flexible schedule with weekends, holidays, and rotation of Sunday hours.
- Experience preferred but not required.
- Problem‑solver, critical thinker, team player, excellent communicator, compassionate, and multitasker.
Assist veterinarians with patient care and client interaction.
- Medication administration, collecting laboratory samples, processing lab samples, surgical preparation, animal husbandry, and handling.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
- At least 1 year of experience as a veterinary assistant.
- Must be able to safely lift 30 pounds.
- Basic math and writing skills.
New role designed to keep the outpatient experience moving smoothly and aid communication between doctors and clients.
- At least 3 years of veterinary medicine experience.
- Comfortable discussing preventions, vaccines, surgeries, costs, treatment plans, and medical histories with clients.
- Prepare for and admit each appointment during an outpatient shift, assist doctors with client callbacks and follow‑ups.
