Experienced Veterinary Assistant (Full-Time) Brookville Animal Hospital (Care Vet)

Brookville Animal Hospital is a busy, two-doctor small animal practice seeking a Full-Time Veterinary Assistant to join our compassionate and collaborative team. We take pride in providing high-quality medicine while creating a positive experience for both our patients and our people.

• Assist veterinarians and RVTs during appointments, treatments, and procedures
• Safely restrain dogs and cats using compassionate, low-stress handling techniques
• Prepare exam rooms and treatment areas
• Assist with laboratory testing, radiographs, and sample collection
• Care for hospitalized patients
• Prepare patients for surgery and assist with recovery
• Maintain a clean, organized hospital environment
• Provide outstanding client service and work collaboratively with the entire team

• Previous veterinary assistant experience
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to multitask in a busy hospital setting
• Passion for exceptional patient care
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely handle patients of all sizes
