We're looking for a dependable, compassionate Veterinary Assistant who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast‑paced setting, and is excited to work with both small and large animal patients.

As a Veterinary Assistant, you’ll work alongside our veterinarians and technicians to provide outstanding patient care.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with examinations, treatments, surgeries, and medical procedures
• Safely handling and restraining both small and large animal patients
• Preparing patients and equipment for procedures
• Monitoring hospitalized patients and assisting with daily patient care
• Collecting and processing laboratory samples
• Cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining treatment areas and equipment
• Filling medications and maintaining inventory
• Assisting with client communication, scheduling, and patient education
• Supporting the team to ensure smooth daily operations

• Veterinary assistant experience or experience working with animals
• Experience handling livestock is a plus
• Knowledge of basic veterinary terminology and animal restraint techniques

• Farm or livestock experience
• Animal science or veterinary-related education
• A strong desire to build a career in veterinary medicine

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and move throughout the workday
• Ability to safely restrain animals of varying sizes
