Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Occupational Health & Safety
Job Title:EHS Manager
Location:Pataskala, OH and Frazeysburg, OH
Salary:Negotiable; dependent upon experience
Schedule:Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
We’re looking for a hands‑on Safety Manager to play a key role in shaping safety culture across our growing manufacturing facilities. This is a high‑visibility role where you’ll partner directly with leadership, work closely with employees on the production floor, and drive initiatives that make a measurable difference in how work gets done safely every day.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities- Lead and execute safety strategies across three manufacturing locations
- Drive a proactive, behavior‑based safety culture by partnering with leadership to integrate safety into daily operations
- Serve as a trusted safety resource across all departments
- Conduct risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations
- Develop and deliver safety training programs
- Ensure OSHA & EPA compliance, reporting, and recordkeeping
- Manage hazard communication programs, including SDS and chemical safety
- Develop and maintain safety policies, procedures, and documentation
- Monitor workers’ compensation claims and return‑to‑work programs
- Lead emergency preparedness efforts and serve as a first responder
- Spend significant time on the production floor engaging employees and identifying improvement opportunities

- B.S. in Environmental / Occupational Health and Safety, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of safety experience in manufacturing, construction, or industrial environments developing safety programs, training, and procedures
- Strong working knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Standards for General Industry
- Strong working knowledge of environmental compliance regulations, (EPA) required permits, recordkeeping, and reporting.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
- Self-motivated, hands‑on, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment
