Aerospace Quality Technician
Location: Blue Ash, OH
Compensation: $25-$35/HR
Requirements:
- 2–4+ years of experience in a quality inspection or manufacturing environment
- Experience working within AS9100 (or similar) quality standards
- Proficient in GD&T, including reading, interpreting, and applying tolerances
- Hands‑on experience with CMM operation or programming (PC-DMIS, Calypso) preferred
- Strong knowledge of measurement tools and drawing interpretation, with solid communication and Microsoft Office skills
Responsibilities:
- Perform visual and mechanical inspections using precision measurement equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM, optical comparator, GOM scanner)
- Measure components against engineering drawings and GD&T specifications to ensure compliance
- Develop and implement inspection processes and create measurement programs using PC-DMIS and Calypso
- Collaborate with Quality and Manufacturing Engineering to resolve non‑conformances and support root cause analysis
- Maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports, QMS records, KPIs, and customer data/CoC packets
