• coat and finish metals using different processes and techniques
• control and regulate surface engineering processes
• monitor galvanic installations
• Basics of electrical engineering and maintenance activities
• Laboratory (analyses, tests, documentation)
• Dealing with measuring instruments and measuring techniques in quality assurance
• Writing programmes for the coating process
