Quality Assurance Assistant – 3rd Shift (Mon–Fri 10:00 PM–6:30 AM)

The Quality Assurance Assistant is responsible for ensuring accurate centralized data capture. You will perform product inspection and audits of quality control programs, shipping distribution inspections, sampling and testing operations, assess draft and final label copy, and reduce downtime by minimizing production rework and recalls.

• Advise operators on escalation procedures
• Document inbound and trailer defects (photos, initial report, enter data into Damage Reduction Database, emails to appropriate distribution lists)
• Report and follow‑up on all inbound and trailer defects (return, rework, accessorial)
• Distribute WPPS and procedure updates
• Safety liaison – incident reporting, follow‑up, investigations
• Perform quality checks
• Release product when required
• Perform root cause analysis and action plans for QIs
• Act as a contact for Pest Control in lieu of Quality Manager
• Monitor operators for compliance with standards
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow SOP and safety guidelines
• Maintain a high level of quality in work performed
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Must be able to pass any federal/state/local background checks, clearances, and drug/alcohol tests.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Effective written and oral communication skills required.
• Good interpersonal skills required.
• Generally prefer 3–6 years of experience.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, handle complex problems, and use judgment to resolve issues.
• Must be capable of performing essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Expected base pay range: $24.00 – $24.00 hourly.
