Quality Control Manager

Founded in 1967, COVI is an independent family-owned French company specialized in the design and manufacturing of canned ready-to-eat meals for over 50 years. With a wide range of containers (canned box, Doypack bag, microwaveable tray), we offer a broad range of preserved products: ready meals, legumes and cereals, meat products, meat preserves, terrines, pâtés… Reporting to the Quality Manager of the site, you will manage the quality control system and ensure the compliance of products, raw materials, and manufacturing processes.

Your Missions:

1. Quality and Food Safety

• Design, implement, and improve the quality control plan of the site.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, customer specifications, and quality standards.
• Participate in risk analysis and HACCP working groups.
• Ensure the validation of batch records and release of finished products.
• Monitor quality indicators and implement necessary improvement actions.

2. Production Control

• Ensure the application of quality controls in manufacturing.
• Analyze control results and define corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor internal, supplier, and customer non-conformities.
• Ensure the compliance of recipes and alert in case of deviation.

3. Audits and Certifications

• Prepare and participate in internal and external audits (clients, certification bodies, health authorities).
• Contribute to the maintenance and development of the site’s certifications.

4. Management and Animation

• Supervise a team of 3 employees.
• Train and sensitize teams to good hygiene, manufacturing practices, and food safety.
• Ensure communication and coordination between different services.

5. External Relations

• Participate in the qualification and evaluation of suppliers and service providers.
• Follow up on complaints and supplier non-conformities.
