Quality Manager

Manufacturer is seeking a Quality Manager to oversee a department in this fast-paced plant. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Motivating, coaching and developing the indirect and direct quality staff reports
• Maintaining and improving the quality management system
• Completing root cause analysis within a team environment and initiating countermeasures
• Communicating with customers on the status of quality concerns and corrective actions
• Resolving customer and supplier quality issues
• Overseeing and monitoring the quality budget
• Representing the location as the quality professional for all internal corporate audits
• Completing quality analysis and reports
• Overseeing the quality lab activities and schedules
• Championing IATF certification and compliance process
• Other duties as directed by management

Candidates should enjoy working in a team environment, communicating with other departments in order to meet production and quality goals, overseeing CI activities to enhance the department and spending up to 70% of the time on the production floor.
