Laboratory Manager

Exciting opportunity to join the site R&D team in Lewisburg, OH within the Quality & Food Safety Function as the Lab Management Lead. The purpose of the role is to lead a team of lab technicians and implement effective laboratory management processes ensuring efficient delivery of services that comply with quality control and compliance.

• Food science, Engineering, or Chemistry BSc. MSc degree is preferred.
• Experience quality assurance or lab management from Food/Nutritional/Pharmaceutical or related manufacturing/testing sites.
• Experience in analytical or microbiology testing, knowledge and experience of GMP, GLP and audits is required.
• People management experience.

• Establish, follow and continuously improve quality system in lab.
• Manage routine activities related to base and finished products tests: incoming raw materials, package materials checks, sensory evaluation, etc.
• Manage external lab tests and communicate with GAIT and regional lab.
• Ensure test equipment and test method transfer and validation.
• Implement SOP/GLPs to ensure reliability and compliance with standards.
• Work with supplier management team to ensure material quality and follow up CAPAs.
• Maintain EHS working conditions and practices in assigned area.
