Verify Inc. is seeking an experienced Source Inspector to perform inspections on Printed Wire Boards (PWBs) and Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) at supplier sites in North Jackson, OH. This is a critical role requiring expertise in electronics inspection and familiarity with defense and aerospace industry standards. This flexible, part-time role is an excellent opportunity for retirees with extensive electronics inspection experience who are looking to stay engaged and make a meaningful contribution to the aerospace and defense industry.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies, focusing on printed boards.
- Review and verify parts against engineering drawings, customer purchase orders, industry standards, and specifications.
- Document and report inspection results (accept/reject) directly to the customer using web applications or Microsoft Office tools.
- Ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner.
Minimum 10 years of hands‑on experience in electronics inspection, specifically with printed boards, in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing environments.
CertificationsRequired: IPC-600 Certification (preferred)
- Comprehensive knowledge of electronics and defense requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency in reporting inspection results.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of hands‑on experience in electronics inspection, specifically with printed boards, in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing environments.
- Certifications: IPC-600 Certification.
- Comprehensive knowledge of electronics and defense requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency in reporting inspection results.
