POSITION SUMMARY:

Implement and manage the Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental Management System (EMS) across all Toledo Tool & Die locations, ensuring both systems are documented and maintained to meet external and internal standards including ISO-9001, IATF-16949, ISO-14001, and all Customer Specific Requirements (CSRs).

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Implement and manage the Quality Management System (QMS) and the Environmental Management System (EMS).
  • Ensure the Quality and Environmental Management Systems are documented to meet the necessary external and internal standards and requirements.
  • Develop and maintain quality policies, procedures, standards, and specifications.
  • Monitor all processes and systems within the scope of the QMS/EMS by conducting regular, planned internal audits.
  • Lead the training and qualification of internal auditors.
  • Manage the external 3rd party audits for the QMS/EMS including working with the auditors in planning for and executing the audits and in following up regarding nonconformances identified.
  • Track and report on KPIs from the audit processes including audits planned vs completed, audit results, and the timeliness of corrective actions.
Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelors degree in business administration or relevant field, or experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Proven experience as a QMS leader across multiple locations.
  • Current Lead Auditor certification: IATF-16949 Lead Auditor (QMS) and ISO-14001 Lead Auditor (EMS).
  • Thorough knowledge of relevant quality and environmental standards including ISO-9001, IATF-16949, and ISO-14001.
